Thank you my Lord

 Oh God, great is Your mercy. You are more than I can even behold. I look to You for guidance, love, and understanding. I long to live my life in service to You. Show me how to serve You according to Your will. I no longer desire to do things according to my own will but yet I long to be pleasing unto You. I am Your servant O Lord, I belong to You. I cast all my cares upon You, I need You to guide me. Order my steps Lord, make my way straight and narrow. What must I do O Lord to draw closer to You? I desire a close walk with You. I want to drown in Your presence. I am a vessel O Lord, a vessel that needs to be continually filled of You. My heart is transformed into a mind that longs to serve You.

 How great are the heavenly treasures you pour out into me! No longer are worldly possessions and aspirations mine and my desire. I want all of the riches You said belong to me. I desire above all else a closer walk with thee, wisdom, knowledge and understanding of Your word, service to You through my church and life’s work, a greater experience of Your awesome power and grace. Those things do I set my sights upon. I only want to serve you O Lord.

I ask that You continue to pour out humility upon me, lest I forget the God I serve is the one true God. That all that I am, all that I have, all that I will become is dependent upon Your generous mercy. And that I can’t do anything without You. All honor and glory belongs to You. Thank You Holy Spirit for filling my mind, heart, thoughts, and words with those according to the workings of Christ Jesus. I acknowledge that it is You O Lord, only You. I am nothing on my own O God. It is Your light that shines through me, your path that I follow, Your love that I seek. Nothing will keep me from serving You. I know the path will not always be easy, but I can find peace knowing that You will never leave me alone. That You are always there to hold me during the storm. You will work things out for Your good, O lord, if I stay steadfast in You.

I know that the time I spend in fellowship with You each morning, searching Your word for Your voice, learning the mysteries of You is indeed my instruction. That there is no life without You my God. I will rise each day Lord, to receive Your instruction, Your love and Spirit that I so desperately need and long for. Increase that desire I have for You O Lord. Let it overflow in me so much so that I desire it to fill me as bread, calm me as Your steady hand, guide me as a compass.

I need You Lord, I desire you Lord, I want you Lord. There is nothing in me that won’t praise you. I love the measure of faith You have given unto me and I ask that You increase that faith O Lord, through experience, through fasting and praying, through my trust in You and Your word. Thank You Lord. For being the beginning and the end. I know that everything will be done according to Your plan. Thank You Lord that it all belongs to You because You are everything. Thank you my Lord.
